On 11 and 12 July 2026, Chamchuri Square in the heart of Bangkok transformed into a Pokémon GO hub as the city hosted the Global Community Celebration, part of Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global. Bangkok's selection placed it alongside major cities across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
